Judy S. Howard, Esq. – Big Island Realtor

Aloha. I’m Judy Howard, an Associate Broker (RB-23241) with COMPASS in Waimea (Kamuela), Hawaii. This link will take you to a property search page set up for the Waimea area, but you use it to search anywhere in the state.
Hawaii Born Realtor With 58 Years in Waimea
Born and raised in Hawaii, I have had close ties with the town of Waimea over the last 58 years. My family and I have kept horses, livestock, and small animals here almost continuously during that time. I have been living on a 50-acre off-grid property close to Waimea for the last 29 years.
Licensed Hawaii Attorney and Real Estate Broker
I hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and have been licensed to practice law in Hawaii for over thirty years. I find my legal training to be invaluable in assisting my real estate clients, as is my long familiarity with the Waimea area. Having bought and sold a number of properties, both as homes and as investments over the years, I understand how to confidently prepare my clients to tackle complex transactions.
Big Island Properties I Concentrate on: Homes, Farms, Ranches and Off-Grid Land
I represent buyers and sellers in residential and land sale transactions, and while I prefer to work in North and South Kohala and Hamakua, I have sold property as far away as Na’alehu in Ka’u. With COMPASS behind me, I offer unparalleled marketing and transaction management. In general, my transactions fall in the $700,000 to $2,000,000 range, although I would be comfortable representing a buyer or seller in a transaction involving a higher price. I do not, however, get involved in coastal luxury home sales, or coastal condo sales in any price bracket. I would be happy to supply names of agents who specialize in those sorts of properties.
Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert Serving The State
I am also certified as a Divorce Real Estate Expert, which means that I have undergone extensive training in many subjects that tend to arise in divorces involving real estate. I serve as a neutral third party when listing divorce properties, and ensure that my loyalty to my clients is undiluted by adhering to the strict Code of Ethics CDREs are bound by.
In fact, I am bound by three codes of ethics, and always abide by the strictest terms imposed by any of the three.
