Judy S. Howard – Big Island Realtor, State-wide Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert

Aloha. I’m Judy Howard, a Realtor Broker RB-23241 with COMPASS in Waimea (Kamuela), Hawaii. 

Born and raised in Hawaii, I have had close ties with the town of Waimea over the last 56 years.  My family and I have kept horses, livestock, and small animals here almost continuously during that time. I have been living on a 50-acre off-grid property close to Waimea for the last 27 years.

I am also licensed to practice law and have held a Hawaii license for over three decades.

I find my legal training to be invaluable in assisting my real estate clients, as is my long familiarity with the Waimea area.  Having bought and sold a number of properties, both as homes and as investments over the years, I understand how to confidently prepare my clients to tackle complex transactions.

I am certified as a Divorce Real Estate Expert, which means that I have undergone extensive training in many subjects that tend to arise in divorces involving real estate.  I serve as a neutral third party when listing divorce properties, and ensure that my loyalty to my clients is undiluted by adhering to the strict Code of Ethics CDREs are bound by.

Of course, I can also handle non-divorce transactions, and with COMPASS behind me, I offer unparalleled marketing and transaction management.

I have just started this website up again in April, 2024, after having contracted website management out for several years.  So the blog posts are not current, but I will be adding to them from time to time.
